PART ONE: PLANNING FOR THE HOUSE HUNT
In this consultation, the focus is your buying and maintenance budgeting. We can focus the hunt for the new house on the 15-20 year budget, and keep costs in line with your future plans. Some people can become the stewards of a hundred year old home, and some families need to be more realistic about their total earnings and consider their retirement or college funds. There is a home to fit every budget, but without a good budget plan, how would we recognize when we find a good fit?
PART TWO: INSPECTING PROSPECTIVE PROPERTIES
You have heard that what matters in Real Estate is location, location, location. But what people most often buy is the ONE thing (family room, kitchen, etc.) that makes them swoon. A budget plan is a good start, but if you want to avoid buying a great room in a not so great house, we can do some “independent inspecting”, BEFORE you make an offer. After the offer is made, it is hard to back you out of trouble, and we hate to start shopping from the beginning, again.
